We have a Honey Murcott that produced one small crop in July/August, then set a second overlapping crop. This crop has not matured yet and is a pale yellow when ripening. Now the tree is setting a third crop. Should we pick and discard the second setting of fruit to allow the new crop to develop?

Overcropping can be a problem with the Murcott and fruit can be small if not thinned adequately.Yes,pick and discard second crop.

I have a Honey Murcott which is approx 80cm tall that I planted last spring, and has now begun flowering. How old or tall should the tree be before allowing flowers to develop into fruit?
Thank you,
Vic
