Brain says... Gimme here in the forum can probably help you source a choc annon tree. The sam ru du is readily available in cairns and on occassions, available in brisbane and sydney markets. We have quite a number of dedicated ppl here who reports their latest mango findings. So just watch out for their postings. If you are really interested in asian/thai mangos, you can consider nam doc mai, kwan, king thai, falan, elephant tusk, all of which trees are available for sale. Though you will have to wait for the right timing. | About the Author Brain Brisbane 9th July 2014 8:42pm #UserID: 6289 Posts: 638 View All Brain's Edible Fruit Trees |

The poster formerly known as... says... The Garden Show at Nambour today and this weekend will be the best place for mangoes. Only place that Birdwood Nursery sells direct to public, so they may have King Thai, Falan, Keow Sawoy, NDM and others. Forbidden Fruits will also be there and usually has a good range in stock, but I think Chester has a massive Asian mango collection and could possibly do some special orders if you are really nice... | About the Author Theposterformerlyknownas Keperra 11th July 2014 9:08am #UserID: 3270 Posts: 1552 View All Theposterformerlyknownas's Edible Fruit Trees |
Brain says... The poster former known as +1 As is current mid winter, the mango trees are hard to find, and not many left overs from last season. New stocks should arrive by mid spring. I would also suggest calling daley up and see what they have and reserve a tree or two. If its any consolation, it took me 3 years to get a king thai, 4 yrs for a banana and still keeping an eye out for few more, lol. Also, make a trip or call turners nursery, last i was there a few mths ago, they had a few types of mango trees in stock. But i think they are mostly usa varieties. | About the Author Brain Brisbane 13th July 2014 11:38am #UserID: 6289 Posts: 638 View All Brain's Edible Fruit Trees |
