Mould on fig cuttings

    10 responses

peter3000 starts with ...
use a tall bag or pot, fill with the
plain poting mix, you can mix some sand in if you want, soak pot let it drain and plant cutting deep give it another
water and try to put it indide something that will hold water but place pots on something to keep them out of the water, put a clear cover over the top and keep sealed, also keep
water topped up, open it up once a week to air out, ive done 100s of cuttings
this way.

Sorry Ivy, I have no cuttings left to post. I planted ten today, they should be ready in a few weeks to post bare rooted.

Probably nobody in Australia has this variety-- they might have other black missions, but not this one.

I have one reserved for you in any case. I have some other varieties which may make it here and or may not.

cheers

Starling,
old thread but I was wondering if you'd have any black mission fig cuttings available - or some time soon. Happy to also compensate costs involved.
