HI I purchased a dwarf mulberry from you two years ago and it is covered in fruit right now. Can you advise the right sort of netting I should use to deter possums and birds. I would hate to lose all this lovely fruit

I have one of these too, what I did was make a large cylinder from steel mesh I bought at bunnings. I then wrapped this with the cheap plastic mesh also from bunnings.

The steel is stiff enough to keep the netting away from the tree.

You could also get a similar result by using 4 large stakes driven into the ground and then wrap the plastic mesh around the steaks.

Fruit fly won't be a problem so fine mesh is not required.
