Help. Is this myrtle rust on my vigorously growing aniseed myrtle ? What to do?

More than likely.
Give it a spray of a copper anti-fungicide with a wetting agent every couple of weeks. Especially rain or high humidity is around.
Personally I gently cut off the leaves and put them in a plastic bag, then give it a good spray.
