I have a Feijoa sellowiana and it has started its spring growth. But many of the new leaves are turning brown and curling up (as per photo). Does anybody have any idea what is causing this?

Did you ever find out about this? I have a new pineapple guava and I noticed that my new growth is curling up as well. It looks just like yours. Is this expected or is something wrong?
