Diana starts with ... What a terrible shame. Open Gardens Australia to close Open Gardens Australia (OGA) started in Victoria 27 years ago and has been behind the opening of almost 20,000 private gardens across Australia to the public. In its heyday more than 800 gardens opened annually, but just under 500 gardens will be open this season. OGA said economic and social changes had created increasing financial pressure for the organisation. OGA will complete its schedule for the 2014-15 season before ending operations in June next year. http://www.opengarden.org.au/news-faq.html
