I have some seeds. My current vine is grown from them. The seeds are from fruit of a vine a grew a few years ago so I am not sure if they are still viable. If you are interested you can have all 25 seeds for $5 and I can check their viability by leaving a few on a bit of wet tissue for a couple of weeks. They are a tropical plant and so I wouldnt think they would do any good until spring in SA. They also require hand polination. If you want to get in touch with me: [email protected]

aNON, i have tried birdwood but
they do not have any.
Scott G, thanks for the offer but
i think seeds do need to be fresh because someone has sent me seeds in the past and i have tried to germinate them a couple of times with no success.

My old plant was in a tough spot and grew fruits to about 15-20cm. Inside is much smaller because the shell is several cm thick. Here they got a bit of fruitfly in the shell. They tasted like passionfruits. Nothing special taste wise. I grew/grow them for their unusualness and size and looks and the vine looks very lush too. Otherwise they are wussy plant that needs more care than a regular passionfruit. They need good conditions to get a good crop.
