Perth Garlic

Goodz, I bought some purple garlic this year from Better Pets and Gardens, organically grown, and it's looking good so far.

I also bought bulbs from my local IGA and have labelled them so I know which is which.

So I don't know how any of them will do for a few months, but if I remember I'll check back.

Great to hear from you Julie! Hope your garlic turns out great. It's certainly a patience testing crop and you don't know how it will turn out till the very end.
My home garden has had several attacks from my 50kg Bull Mastif puppy in which she trampled a lot of my garlic but half of it seems to have recovered luckily.
I also have some growing at my inlaws farm in Manjimup but the weeds are loving my long breaks between visits! Hopefully after the next good weed and mulch the weeds will leave the garlic alone.

Hi fellow green thumbs! Just wondering who is growing garlic in Perth this season?
What cultivars are you growing if known and do you have any favourites that you'd like to swap after harvest? I'm a bit obsessed with Garlic at the moment and would love to find a few new types to grow next season.
