BJ says... Def dont require treatment. If they dry on the plant they are easy to harvest by crushing the pods in your hands. You can then just stick the dry peas in the ground and they'll shoot off in a few days-weeks. They go quick. You should be able to sow the eating peas and get them to grow, but I've never tried it - they've always been on my block and I have more than I could use.
