Pinkerton Avocardo

    1 responses

I have a seedling avocardo about 15 years old and very tall, which produces fairly reliably. Close by I have a Wurtz and Pinkerton about 6 years old. Last year the Wurtz produced about 7 fruit (many having fallen off early) and the Pinkerton 1. This year they both produced copious tiny fruit, all of which eventually went black and fell of while still tiny. I gave them much TLC. Meanwhile, the seedling is holding about 100 fruit. Any suggestions as to why the varietals aren't producing?

So Hillview South Australia? Would be virtual desert conditions there or is it the QLD one near Brisvegas? Need alot more info - Not just what the varieties are - are they all in the ground near each other? Or Pots and ground like mine?

Follow the Birdwood regime on their Avo tags as good advice - dont know about grass clippings but Avo leaves are the best mulch ever - Also some pics would be great - I recently got a pinkerton but is a bit slow getting its roots into its mound - early days yet :)
