Gregoire starts with ... Hello! My peppercorn plant is not doing the best. The leaves have brown spots such as in the picture. Some parts are also yellowing. An also big concern is that each new leaf the plant pushes out, that leaf usually acquires brown edges, become very brittle, and are unable to fold over causing it to completely come off. I water only when dry and the trots seem to be fine. This plant is only about 30 centimeters and I really don't want any more leaves coming off. The lighting is a full spectrum LED light on for 15 hours. Anything you recommend? Thanks! | About the Author Gregoire Monkey08 21st February 2015 6:53pm #UserID: 11344 Posts: 1 View All Gregoire's Edible Fruit Trees |
MIke T1 says... Mmmmm brown spots and edges and if it lures children you may have a pied piper. Cuttings sometimes get this problem when watered too much and kept in deep shade. It will be soil, environmental conditions or both. The like acidic soil that is well drained and hot humid weather.Full sunshine is ok when older and filtered light when young. | About the Author MIke T1 cairns 23rd February 2015 11:13pm #UserID: 10744 Posts: 250 View All MIke T1's Edible Fruit Trees |
