plum tree? (forum)

Can anyone help me to locate a "Plum" tree that I knew as a child in my parents garden. It looked like the normal purple leafed Prunus tree and had "golf ball" size darkred/purple fruit that was delicious. The blossoms were either pale pink or white (I think). I would be happy if anyone knows the name of it and where I can get one.

Could it be Satsuma? A lot of the "old" varieties are no longer in vogue so may be hard to get. Check as many nurseries as you can and any weekend markets if there are any near you.
