Chris says... "Nam Roi was supposed to be ok in cooler climates" Unless it is a hybrid like the types commonly sold as sweetie, then it will always have far too much acid in Melbourne. Not sure why you say it is suitable for cooler climates. Daleys say otherwise: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/dwarf-pumelo-nam-roi-tree.htm | About the Author Chris Sydney 3rd March 2015 9:20am #UserID: 2281 Posts: 263 View All Chris 's Edible Fruit Trees |

jakfruit etiquette says... When Nam Roi was released as budwood by Auscitrus, i'm pretty sure they commented on that. Evidently they meant cooler than FNQ ??? There are plenty of other vars suitable for Darwin + Cairns etc, so they must have had a reason to release it ?? Not sure what var would be good in Melbourne, maybe Red Shaddock, Murray Downs, Tahitian, if you can find them. | About the Author jakfruit etiquette vic 3rd March 2015 5:53pm #UserID: 5133 Posts: 915 View All jakfruit etiquette's Edible Fruit Trees |
