Sarah88au15 starts with ... Hi I was wondering if I could get some advice on my fig tree. I am located in the subtropical zone in Queensland. My fig tree was doing well I have had it for a while now. The plant is now dropping it's leaves after they yellow and wilt. We have had a day of rain but surely it wouldn't be affecting it too much??? I have repotted it in some new Searles mix and added pine bark chips to the bottom 1/4 - 1/3 of the depth of the pot for extra drainage. The pot does not have a saucer. It has been moved back to its usual full sun spot on the patio. Will the plant recover after repotting? If all of the leaves fall off will this be the end of the fig tree? The fruit seem to continue none the less. Will it affect quality? The top of the plant is showing some new leaf or fruit buds ( looking like little green bumps in groups of 2 or 3 in places) and has a new leaf spike out the top. Is this the next seasons foliage getting ready? Regards, Fig Novice Sarah
