Like lots of people in this forum and with 'my edibles' garden pictures, I use wooden stakes in my garden.
I got some cheap plastic covers from the hardware shop to put on them after I read a magazine article on the risk of eye injuries a couple of years ago (not just a potential thing- I do now know someone this happened to).

Looks a good idea. I was worried about this also with my 2 year old. I just use 6ft Stakes instead.
(When hes 6ft, he should know better :)
