I have an old apple tree which came from seed and notice it has fruit without seeds. The fruit is large , turns red when ripe and is loaded on the tree. When ripe the fruit is tasty and and it has 5 crowns on the bottom. Is it a new variety?

It may be an idea to contact a specialist fruit tree grower in your area. Some of them offer to graft a tree onto their rootstock from scions you can supply if you want to give it a go. Many apple cultivars started off from backyard trees showing promise. Seedless apples would be a novelty.
