Shahtoot mulberry...planting questions (forum)

I have a couple of young, lovely King White shahtoot mulberry trees...one of them, I intend to keep dwarfed in a pot, the other I will plant. I want to plant it to the north (rear) side of the house, where our rumpus room is, as this room gets very hot in the summer. I am hoping the mulberry will provide some cooling shade in the summer months. Anyway, my question is, how far (or close) should I plant it for this purpose, keeping in mind the root system (I dont want it interfering with the foundations of my house obviously LOL). Thanks in advance!

It is just paving bricks at the moment (its an enclosed patio rumpus room kind of thing) but we do intend to make concrete the floor in the future.
