I should like to know if Mango seeds and Avocado seeds may be kept for a week or two prior to sowing or preparation for germination?

If you really have to then give it a go. I have had recalcitrant seeds sent to me that have taken up to 2 weeks to arrive. Surprisingly they will grow. Pack them in a plastic bag with damp coco coir or vermiculite. Be prepared that they may start sending out roots in the bag. Dont put tropical seeds in the fridge as it can damage the seeds.

Once the mango seeds start to turn grey, then your chances are not very good. Best to plant mangos seed right away. 1 week is prob max.
