Hi guy, I bought a lovely Panama Gold from you last year an it took off like a rocket.lovely healthy plant and fruit for the first time (18 months)fruit seem to be 'bitten' and then shrivel without ripening. Nice big fruit. doesn't get a chance to ripen. Just tiny needle type holes. The pith is still thick and the inside still white seeds now juice. Juvenile fruit. any ideas?

Hi Chipmunk, this is a tell tale sign that your fruits have been stung by fruit fly. Try covering the vine with a fruit fly net one the fruits have set to see if this makes a difference. You need to let the fruit set before covering though to ensure you flowers are pollinated.
