Hi. I have a baby Graviola tree that I purchased from you almost 2 years ago. It has shown signs of fruiting twice now. The first was approx 6 months ago which was eaten off by a Possum. I noticed another couple of signs of fruit, and was wondering whether (at this age) i should be discarding the fruit to promote tree growth.

It is currently about 1.5-1.7m tall.

Thanks
Feng

Hi Feng, we would recommend for you to remove all the flowers and fruit for the first two years to establish a strong and healthy tree. Let it fruit in its 3rd year ideally.

Thanks for the reply.

Does this apply to all fruiting trees? (Coffee for example?). I had one which had beautiful flowers and then fruited... but then the leaves turned yellow and it looked pretty sad overall :(
