Hi Kath, I have a smallish diameter bamboo - probably OK for staking things like toamtoes, but nothing heavier.

What did you plan to do with the bamboos? Anything in particular?

I plan to divide it up soon as it is in a pot and needs more room.

Hi Randey, if you're down this way again send me an email rather than a message on here (as I go days without checking it) so I can give you my address. The pawpaws are still young so no rush and the pepinos are doing well. Thanks, Kath.

no. he hasn`t gone . it just smells that way. sorry folks my wife and i have gone through a rough patch healthwise. hef you are more than welcome to take some cuttings although at the moment i only have 2 mature spikes left after harvesting. the young ones should be ready to go in a couple of months into summer. cut the spikes into lengths about 50mm below the rings and leave for a week then put into a bucket of water . do not cover the cuttings with water just the rings and do not let them dry out and leave for say 3 months and you will be rewarded with new roots

Cheers for the green-thumb advice. Whenever feasable, love to pick just a few cuttings. Guessing red-skin's must be sweeeet! :) Thanks Hefner.
