Table grape variety for cool climates

What would be recommended for a table grape (preferably) seedless, for a cool climate with short growing season. Some wine varieties grow well in the region.

Thanks

Hi Helen, you may be surprised to know that the 'wine varieties' can be very good eating as well. I went to a vineyard once where they offered tasting of the grapes and I would say they taste just as good if not better than the Woolies varieties.

I used to really enjoy the wine varieties when working in the vineyard. My favorite was actually chardonnay grapes, much better than the wine for sure!. I worked with a few yint little filipino girls there that I'm sure ate just as many grapes as they picked lol and they were very efficient pickers too.

Agree, a lot of wine grapes are far more flavoursome and complex flavoured than table grapes. Table grapes have better crunchy texture, wine vars can have small+seedy berries, not sure if many are seedless.
