They are quite slow growers and do like to be pampered but once they get going they are a winner. The Black Walnut is easily the most popular here: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/walnut-black-tree.htm Followed by the Tulare variety http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/walnut-tulare-tree.htm Walnuts are more suited to a cooler climate which would depend on where abouts you live on the sunshine coast.
