What are these seeds - please id

Linton starts with ...
I hope someone is able to offer some suggestions as to what species these seeds might be. These unknown seeds were given to me and neither myself nor the source has any idea. They are about 1.5 cm in diameter.

A very difficult question , almost impossible .Like naming the brand of car from a wheel nut . Plant the seeds and show us some foliage , some expert may be able to identify from first leaf .

They look somewhat bleached. Where they found on a beach. There is a book on drift seeds and they may be in the book.
