What dwarf fruit trees to plant in Mosman (forum)

Dear Daleys Fruit Trees
We are a community of verge gardeners in Mosman, planting vegetables and herbs in our street. As an addition to vegetables, we would dearly love to plant dwarf fruit trees, but as we're only 3 blocks away from the Harbour, we wonder which varieties would suit us. We've gone into your excellent website, inputted our postcode (2088)and noted there are quite a few varieties which our local nursery (Manly) has said won't grow here., e.g. Dwarf apple, which your site lists. Also a plum variety. Now we're confused! Could you please suggest which dwarf varieties of fruiting trees and vines would be best suited to our community garden? Thank you.

Hi Daisy, welcome to the forum. you've reached the forum and not the nursery. Our members are mostly backyard growers (though I suspect some commercial growers/nursery people too) exchanging ideas and having discussions plus a lot of Q&A. You're just around the corner from me (I'm in Neutral Bay) so feel free to take a look at what I grow here. No apples/plums though I've given away a plum that outgrew my place and an apricot that can't get enough sun here.
