I am pretty new to planting fruit trees so my question is very basic.....I have a nectarine and a Mulberry in a pot and I live about 50k North of Melbourne.....when should I plant these guys in the ground and if anyone has any replanting tips that also would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Rachel

I'd pick your spot now and start working in manure and compost and stuff to get the soil humming along, but wouldn't plant out until spring when you're reasonably confident that the frosts are gone. It probably wouldn't hurt either of these too much to plant a little earlier, but you want your young trees to get a good start.
