Yellow Cherry? Tomatoes.

    2 responses

Mark starts with ...
I have a question about what we call, "Yellow Cherry Tomatoes." I know they are around, but we've had these things just come up 'wild' in the garden. As we love tomatoes,we left them to grow,& found they are a bright Yellow-Orange,& quite smaller than the usual Red cherry tomatoes. Even without staking, there's thousands on this one bush! They seem to grow in clumps(the fruit I mean). .... Does anyone have any information on this type of tomatoe? Is it a native? Anything you can tell me, please. ... "Thanks."

Sounds like a yellow currant tomato. Definitely non native. A type of small cherry tomato.

Likely broad ripple yellow current? I have this and your description matches to a T. American variety, I think.
