Dwarf Apple - Tropical Anna (Grafted) 6/10

LissyK1's Edible Fruits
Update: 3024 days 20hrs

Comments: -

Poor Anna struggled with her first few days of full Mareeba sun. The new leaves were all burned. Since being moved to a position that gets full sun in the morning only, the recovery has started.

Rollinia - Brazilian Custard Apple 7/10

LissyK1's Edible Fruits
Update: 3051 days 2hrs

Comments: -

Seems to be growing well so far. It has passed the brutal Mareeba sun test and didn't mind the transfer into the ground.

It is now struggling with the unrelenting heat. Not sure if it will survive. Probably needs the moistureof more tropical areas.

This plant ended up doing exceptionally well. It was flowering when I moved away, and was 5-6 foot tall and very healthy. So sad I missed out on seeing if it set fruit.

Bought as a seedling, so I am in for a wait before I will get fruit. I was worried about putting it in the ground as it looked a little flimsy, but is happy, and doing well. Standing up to the brutal Mareeba sun.

This has gone berserk since planting. When it arrived it already had flowers on it, and has fruited. I think it has doubled in size since purchase about a month ago. If they come up for sale again, I will buy another.

Mango - Kensington Pride (Grafted) 8/10

LissyK1's Edible Fruits
Update: 3086 days 13hrs

Comments: -

Bought from the local nursery, this grafted tree already had flowers and small fruit which I removed. Since going into the ground, it has done well. If it gets strong enough, I may let it fruit next year.

Dwarf Apple - Tropic Sweet 7/10

Fared a little better than Tropical Anna in the full Mareeba sun. Suffered a small amount of sun burn, but is doing better in a spot that gets full sun in the mornings only.

Pomegranate - Elche 7/10

Arrived with a flower/fruit already developing. I removed it, given the size of the plant, and am happy to wait for the tree to grow a little before letting it fruit. I love the shape of the foliage, and am hoping for an attractive back yard tree.

This grew very quickly. While it fruited almost constantly, no fruit grew bigger than a golf ball. And the insects loved them. I probably could have put in more effort, to be honest. It was a nice looking tree, though, with its red flowers.

Fig Black Genoa (Cutting) 8/10

LissyK1's Edible Fruits
Update: 3086 days 13hrs

Comments: - This poor fig had a little accident. It was knocked off the deck that it was sitting on, and the top half of the plant was broken off. Despite that, the remaining little fig tree is doing amazingly. Plenty of new growth coming so quickly that I swear there are new leaves and branches every time I look at it.
