This is so slow at growing, but I think heaps of cow manure, a slightly shady and protected spot, and not too heavy wtareing, and well I think this tree will make it in Warenrs Bay. I have yet to see it fruit after 3 years of very slow growth. Now almost 1m high (from a 30cm sapling)

This is the most amazing tree for Warners Bay. An abundance of the most delicious fruit. It survives the dry summer well, and even fruits (though slowly) oevr Winter. Highly recommended

These came as seedlings, and have not prospered very well in full sun. I think I planted them in the wrong spot, and about a 1/3rd have died. I am persisting with them in Warenrs Bay, as they are such a pretty tree.... but slow growing!

The tamarind are VERY sensitive to even a couple of days without water. So in Warners Bay over Summer, with a few hot days, they just lost their leaves. I did plant one in full sun, and the otehr in partial shade... they reveive well with regular watering, but eventually they died.

The feijoa just do not grow that well in Warners Bay... I have to come back to you on this, as they are survingin, just not growing that well. I think they need a lot more water than is available in Warners Bay through rain

2/3rds of the trees died, but three are just going beautifully. I hear avaocado is a fickle tree, so a wait and see on these. May be a goer for the hills of Warners Bay

This just is not growing. I have put heaps of cow manure around it. It stays green, but given a few dry weeks, it loses it's leaves, and doesn't want to grow at all. To be afir I may have planted it in the wrong spot. Not a goer for Warners Bay I'm afraid

The lychee seems to be taking off... it is not sensitive to the requirements of dry spells that we had over summer. It took off really in late summer and august, where we did get more rain. Seems it may be a goer for Warners Bay near Newcastle
