Question:

Keeps getting some sort of disease on new growth leaves. Parts of leaves turn brown and most new leaves curl and look sick. Have used pest oil and some sort of copper powder suggested by horticulturists in Flower power and someone at Bunnings. Not completely satisfied

How can I avoid it?

Grew ok, was attacked by football (:-)) seemed to survive. Flowered end of summer and lost all leaves in winter. Waiting to see if it survived the winter

Didn't grow very well. Started growing twice and stopped for some reason. Currently lost all leaves due to frost. Waiting for spring to see if the plant has survived.

Lost all leaves again this winter due to frost. Was growing well before that. Showing some signs of life as spring approches.

Didn't show growth after planting and lost all leaves around Autumn. Showing some new leaves now and I have fertilised. Hoping for good growth this spring.

Did well last summer. Starting to sprout leaves again as spring approches. Looks promising

Mango - Bowen Seedling 7/10

Has some growth in summer. Some frost damage on the top 2 layers of leaves. Waiting for spring growth.  Extensive frost damage again this winter, All leaves are dead. I have left them on the plant. Hoping it is not dead and will sprout again

Papaya - Southern Red 7/10

Grew very well all spring, summer and autumn. Lost all leaves to frost. One small new leaf still survives. I am confident this will continue to grow come spring.

Died this winter due to frost damage.

Want to know if there is a frost tolerant variety
