About My Edible Backyard

Why DavidB Love's Edible Plants

I Love growing produce, purchased a pile of fruit trees and bushfood just to realise as I started planting my new landscape that we would have to knock down the house and rebuild as I had 1 to many children..... well nearly 2 years later after digging up all my trees, the house is rebuilt and I have a consruction zone for a garden and alot of trees in pots. Well I have slowly started replanting......

Planted in the front yard after digging them out of the back yard 2 years ago they had made it up to 3 meters high (alot of pruning) before being cut down to less that half height and placed in milk crates. I can't believe they all survived but luckily they did and they now seem to have stabalised and have started growing. At there feet are lots of Aloevera.

The oldest one (about 20y) has been well established and nutting. Pruned it back to third its height about a year ago when most other trees were removed. Have 3 others grown from the seeds of this one. 1 in the ground, opposite side of yard and 2 in pots... for now
