17/08/09 Frost: None About My Edible BackyardWhy BobbyB Love's Edible Plants I have 52 fruit trees on a half acre with my house in the middle. We have 17 types of Mangos, 6 types of Avacados, Logans, Lychees, JacFruit,Sugar Apples, Pomegranate, Guabanas, Nispero- Sapadilla, Lemoncilla, Cashew, Passonfruit, Oranges, Limes, and also Lemons . We have lots of bananas and plantains in addition to the fruit trees. We are on a sandy loam with limestone rock base and get lots of rain here and warm weather. The trees are part of my garden and not like a grove and my Jack Russell terriers love to garden with me..
