Hi vlct, thanks for the response about cherries. Where did you get your blueberries, avocados and macadamias from?
vlct says... [3873 days 14hrs ago]
I bought them all here from.daleys :)
gabs says... [3873 days 10hrs ago]
cool, thanks. I thought so, they looked like familiar varieties. I'm interested in how your PowderBlue, Mac, Mango and Avocadoes go...I have just bought a Blueberry Burst and was thinking of trying those other three as well (but I'm not sure how they will cope here).

My mangos going really well. I did try r2e2 but died. Mac is doing well 30 temps will scorth new growth. All my blueberrys are loaded. There 2 year. Where are you too ?

Wurtz avocado is starting to flower for the first time. A friends got a large fuerte that's flowering so I'm going to take a cutting and have a go hand pollinating over a couple days.
gabs says... [3870 days 17hrs ago]
hi vlct, i'm in Enfield, so other side of town. but still, good to hear that you're having success with these ones as I'd really like to try growing them too. There doesn't seem to be any way to PM on this forum.
vlct says... [3870 days 2hrs ago]
u should give a different dwarf mango a try. See how they compare. Daleys have two dif varieties in production now.
vlct says... [3870 days 2hrs ago]
Actually there both seeking propagating materal soz, I'm sure any other variety will do well. Just keep it dry and out of the wet other first couple winter's..

White sapote dade and kampong - Yes, Kampong fully self-fertile,at least here in sub-tropics, so one would be enough. Angel peach tree heavenly sweet - You just manually thin by twisting the small fruits. They get to be the size of small doughnuts, so make sure they each have enough room to grow and that you dont try to make it hold too many fruit, or it will give smaller fruit or abort many anyways. ..Liked Answer 3783 days 13hrs

Hey VLCT you're in Glenelg so was wondering if you'd had any luck with your white sapote fruiting yet? Could you hit me with an email at peterantoniw@msn.com to discuss this.

Hi there, ive just startrd growing this in Adelaide as well, was wondering if it has fruited and how it does in winter, for me the leaves roll up.
Peter91 says... [2416 days 14hrs ago]
Hey Luke, Any white sapote will grow fine I'm Adelaide and fruit, just expect it to look a bit ratty in the first year as it adjusts to the Adelaide climate and will probably drop leaves in the first year of winter etc but will make a full comeback.
Luke :) says... [2399 days 16hrs ago]
Cheers Peter91, eased my worries on the leaf curl. Seems the growth spurt just before winter didn't have time to harden off and curled up like little tubes.
