Kathy's Edible Fruits
Update: 42 days 8hrs

Comments: -

Lovely large glossy leaves. Bright green new growth ages to a dark green. Seems to be slow growing.

Summer 2011: FIRST FLOWERS! So excited. They are hard to see because they are down at the base of the leaves along the branches but they are there! Fingers crossed for some fruit!!! I had always been told that they were highly fragrant. I haven't noticed any particular smell but with all the rain it could easily have been washed away.

It died because of frost, but I was contemplating removing it anyway, as there are weed issues. I guess those weed issues are limited by frost, though!

growing in a protected area, it's been very neglected over the past few years but still produces fruit. This is one of those forgotton trees.  I read once how difficult it was to make coffee grounds so I just let it go. I now have  renewed vigure in this tree and will get some TLC it rightly deserves.
