Tropical apricot - Eugenia myrcianthes (Seedling) 2/10

Potty Bob 1's Edible Fruits
Update: 1625 days 13hrs

Comments: -

Sounds nice , should get fruit 2019/20 ,lost flowers last year as I planted it from a large pot . Update 28/10/19 produced one apricot looking fruit that I had bagged till it dropped ripe . Tasted horrid , sweet with a tart tropical fruit taste ( mango/apricot ) juicy, and a strong pungent garlic flavour that is so bad that I can't believe this was sold to me as a fruit tree ,it's yuck . However I will give it another year to see if fruit improves .

I did not buy this from Daleys.

Great reviews on these from the USA and now they are available in Oz. We are not in a very high chill area so this seems like a good choice.

Its on the south side of the house like most of my stonefruit they only get full sun from spring into summer.
