Lovely large glossy leaves. Bright green new growth ages to a dark green. Seems to be slow growing.

Summer 2011: FIRST FLOWERS! So excited. They are hard to see because they are down at the base of the leaves along the branches but they are there! Fingers crossed for some fruit!!! I had always been told that they were highly fragrant. I haven't noticed any particular smell but with all the rain it could easily have been washed away.

Coffee K7 (Grafted) 9/10

Correy's Edible Fruits
Update: 237 days 0hrs

Comments: -

Yes I'm a huge fan of coffee trees and have made a few cups of coffee using my own beans. I am a huge novice but very much enjoy the understanding I get from doing it by myself. Even though I have quite a few plants I don't think I will be able to support my coffee addiction from them.

Coffee arabica (Grafted) 9/10

Heather's Edible Fruits
Update: 620 days 2hrs

Comments: -

We planted the 2 coffee trees behind the shed as we read they like Lime. The cement slab does seem to encourage them along. Our first crop we only got enough beans off 1 of the trees to have 2 cups of coffee. This year we got 4 kilo of beans between the 2 trees.

For roasting the beans we got an oil can and devised a way to put it on the BBQ rotisserie. After some experimenting we found by doing it this method for 20 minutes it gave them a lovely taste.

Fruiting Months May and June

Planted: 2008

Height 2 metres

Growing: In the Ground

Qty: 2

Fruit Harvest: 4 kilograms per Year

First Fruited: 1 Years from purchase in pot

Sun/Shade: Medium Sun

Water Given in: Spring

Pruned By: 3% in After Fruiting

Pollination: No

When I Fertilise: When Fruiting

Pest Control:

No sprays used

Organic Status:Organic

Question:

To add extra flavour to the beans we were wondering if we could add Macadamia Oil to the roasting procedure?

Steven's Edible Fruits
Update: 676 days 3hrs

They are growing quite well, are still in pots but have turned into nice bushes. They flowered last summer and are still holding onto the fruit. One has grown quite large and is inside now full of fruit. the other two are outside still and are still holding onto quite a few berries.

Grow in a warm location with filtered light, they like to be watered frequently and fertilized once every month or two.

First Fruited: 1.5 Years from purchase in pot

Sun/Shade: Low Sun

Pollination: Self Pollination

Fertiliser or Organics Used: Every month or two, and every two weeks with a liquid fertilizer, but only in growing season
