Dwarf Lime - Tahitian (Grafted)

Kath's Edible Fruits
Update: 124 days 5hrs

Comments: -

This tree is struggling, it keeps getting cut back hard to remove gall wasps and it has not had a chance to grow very much.  Gets scale and suffers from neglect. I will have to give it more attention if I want it to thrive, I wish I had bought a tree on trifoliata as the dwarf is too slow.

Planted: 2008

Pest Control:

get spray occasionally with pest oil, I need to give this tree more attention

Lime - West Indian Lime: dwarf (Seedling)

Mish's Edible Fruits
Update: 816 days 19hrs

Comments: -

Dwarf variety of lime. Still in its nursery pot because I have now bought a new apple tree which is going in the spot I had reserved for my lime. I will probably put it in a 50 ltr pot as my lemon is doing very well in its pot.

Decided to plant my lime in its original place between my Granny smith and a Pinkabelle tree. It is now doing so great with 10cm of new growth and it looks so much healthier now.

Dwarf Lime - Tahitian (Grafted) 7/10

Terrastrega's Edible Fruits
Update: 939 days 22hrs

Comments: -

Just purchased my dwarf Tahitian lime tree few weeks ago. Its in a pot (38cm diameter & 35cm height). Potting mix is Richgrow rose and citris potting mix, fertilise with bit of blood and bond and fruit and citris premium fertiliser, and a dash of potash. I use Tee Tree Mulch but leave about 2 inches unmulched around the trunk of the tree. The nursery advice to water twice a day here in Brisbane, so I have been doing that so far.

It looks healthy and doing well. It gets full sun till about 2 - 3pm each day, after which it gets partial sun. Height of tree from soil line upwards is about 54cm. I have a Dwarf Meyer Lemon tree (64cm tall) and an Emperor Mandarin (74cm tall, not the dwarf varity), both purchased around the same time as the Dwarf Tahitian Lime tree and also in the same type of pots, potting mix and fertiliser as the Lime tree and so far all seem healthy.

If anyone has any advice as to how to keep my little tree healthy or if I have been doing something wrong, it would be much appreciated.  Anyone can tell me when these trees may start fruiting?

Lime - Mexican or Key Lime

Zeni's Edible Fruits
Update: 995 days 21hrs

This Mexican Lime tree was always struggling and it didn't survive the drought. I wonder if it wasn't warm enough in winter here even though I planted it next to a stone wall to try and give it more warmth.

Where can we get Key Limes from?
zeni says... [653 days 21hrs ago]
I got the Mexican Lime from Turner's Nursery at Rochedale 2-3 years ago. They're hard to find - I'd been keeping my eye out for one for several years.
