Graptophyllum ilicifolium - Holly-leaved Graptophyllum

An attractive understory shrub that is found along watercourses, where there is a break in the canopy allowing light to penetrate. Clusters of red flowers in the spring or early summer attract nectar feeders. Native to lowland rainforest near Mackay, it is also called the Mt Blackwood Holly, after the location where it was first discoverd and the holly like apperance of the foliage.

Grapefruit - Flame

Similar to Star Ruby. The Flame has a greater intensity and pinkness of the rind. A heavy producing variety. Grapefruits are heavy produces of bunches of fruit high in Vit C and make excellant juices.

Grape - Chambourcin

A hybrid wine grape that is well suited to coastal climates. The black fruit is medium to large with excellant tolerance to Downey Mildew. Good table variety for backyards in humid climates, heavy cropper of rich flavoursome grapes when left to fully ripen on vines.

Grape - Lady Patricia

A white/yellow grape well suited to subtropical conditions. Produces large clusters of lady-finger shaped grapes. Tender flesh with sweet slightly astringent flesh. Similar to a sultana grape in flavour.

Muscadine Grape - Achilles

Ripe grapes are sweet and juicy with a distinctive fruity flavour. Vigorous self fertile vine with medium sized (15-20mm), round golden-bronze fruit when ripe. It can set a small percentage of smaller seedless fruit. Highly disease resistant and should not require spraying making them ideal for coastal subtropical climates.

This variety is owned by FAVGRO. The purchaser agrees that propagation of the vines for sale, without authorisation from the breeder is prohibited.

Grape - Sultana

Originating in Turkey, Greece and Iran, the sutlana grape is well suited to climates with a cool winter and a long dry summer. This variety does not tolerate humidity well. The fruit have a unique sweet flavour and a beautiful golden colour. As the name suggests they are dried to make sultanas.
