Graptophyllum ilicifolium - Holly-leaved Graptophyllum
An attractive understory shrub that is found along watercourses, where there is a break in the canopy allowing light to penetrate. Clusters of red flowers in the spring or early summer attract nectar feeders. Native to lowland rainforest near Mackay, it is also called the Mt Blackwood Holly, after the location where it was first discoverd and the holly like apperance of the foliage.

Similar to Star Ruby. The Flame has a greater intensity and pinkness of the rind. A heavy producing variety. Grapefruits are heavy produces of bunches of fruit high in Vit C and make excellant juices.
