I Would like to grow Atherton raspberries in the Hunter Valley. We get a handful of light frosts. Are the plants only warmer climate lovers or would I have a chance of success?

I grow them in Sydney /near Wiseman's Ferry. We too get a handful of frosts and mine is growing GREAT - actually a bit feral. They don't taste like conventional raspberries but OK none the less and the plus for me is that they fruit when nothing else does!!
