Purchased Sharwill Avocado and wondering which A type to buy to increase crop. Also is it possible to plant both in same hole and how problematic could this be?

No Rocket Science - get an A you like the taste of - where you are they can be almost self pollinating if its under 10c but 2 in one hole works - I do that alot with white sapotes etc.
Make sure you read all the posts here on root rot issues and raise it up min 30cm - growers raise over 50cm in some areas.
Avos can be a nightmare so read read read. Then get some commercial fungicides if things need fixing - farms do too.

Thanks Markmelb. I will buy a Hass. According to information on harvest times it appears to flower close to the same time as Sharwill so fingers crossed. Thanks for info on root rot and fungicide. Will prepare a huge mound and aerate thoroughly.
