Avocado Leaves for Diabetes Treatment ?

    11 responses

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone in the Sydney area is kind enough to share some of their Avacodo leaves or sell them to me ? It doesn't matter which Avocado type . My dad's neighbour has recently tried taking the leaves as a replacement for tea leaves in hot water and has great success with his glucose level . I want to try this out for my Dad who suffers from type 2 diabetes . I live near Liverpool and can drive to most places within Sydney to pick it up . I can pay or swap it with Dragon Fruit cuttings .

Yes, I have heard about avocado leaves as a help in diabetes. First, collect 200 or so leaves ; then scatter in a wide circle . Finally pick up leaves one by one. The ensuing exercise and weight loss is very beneficial.

I don't live nearby, but I can send quite a few leaves your way if you'd like. :)

Mexican type Avos have anise scented leaves, ie higher essential oil content than other types. Not sure if this has anything to do with your request, if some types better than others ?
