Pauline Staff of Daley's Nursery says... Did you know that Avocado trees are split into two groups, A and B. The trees are partially self fertile but they do benefit from cross pollination so if you have the space for two trees you will get a better crop on each tree if you have an A and a B type tree and you will also extend your fruiting season. You may like to have a look at this link as it explains avocado pollination and the compatible flowering much better than I can https://www.agric.wa.gov.au/spring/growing-avocados-flowering-pollination-and-fruit-set. This may be the reason why you aren't getting any fruit. Otherwise look at your soil health, trace elements may be needed to help with fruit set | About the Author Pauline Staff of Daley's Nursery Kyogle 9th December 2019 2:27pm #UserID: 19813 Posts: 87 View All Pauline Staff of Daley's Nursery's Edible Fruit Trees |
