Michael starts with ... Hi All, Has anyone ever used a mineral fertiliser called Azomite in their garden. I would like to hear your feedback. I cam across this product on youtube while searching for ways to improve by dragon fruit yield. I bought 5 kgs of this product and got it delivered it to me yesterday. I'm keen to apply it on my garden this weekend but would love to hear othe people's thought on this product. The below link is the official website for this product in Australia if you are interested to read more about it. http://azomite.com.au/ | About the Author Michael Wakeley 20th October 2009 1:13pm #UserID: 1746 Posts: 178 View All Michael's Edible Fruit Trees |
HappyEarth says... Hi Michael, ive heard good things about it - but surely there is a similar product here in Australia? Its imported all the way from Utah! A guy in my area use to make a similar product which ive used over my whole block and vegie beds but has since retired. Everything seems very healthy but as usual its hard to quantify theses things! Mick says... Very hard to find impartial comments on the web about this stuff. When they go quoting people who say their vegetables grew so big and fast that the grower asked how to stop them, I get somewhat skeptical!!! There was something from the 90's where someone found no difference, but apparently the great results only came to people who used it in conjunction with a bacteria source such as cow manure. There are definitely products mined in Australia, such as this one: http://www.fcrd.com.au | About the Author Mick1 Brisbane 21st October 2009 1:58pm #UserID: 2790 Posts: 11 View All Mick1's Edible Fruit Trees |
