I have a blood orange that has never gone red - could be wrongly labelled but has nice oranges - I got an Arnold Blood Orange to try as doesnt need the cold to go red but heat by the looks? jakfruit etiquette says... The main types now available in Australia are Arnold Blood, Maltese Blood and 3 Tarocco types, Ippolito,Meli and Rosso. There are other older kinds, but these might be harder to find. Arnold is a very attractive tree, and the fruit pigmentation can be variable over the same tree. Have you thought of a mixed row of all types?
