Kathy says... Possibly it is magnesium deficiency - with the black spots being where the leaf has started to die. What will fix it? Epsom salts which you can buy at your grocery store (it's magnesium sulphate - I think - anyway a source of magnesium). Here's a picture of one type of plant with magnesium deficiency (which might be like your persimmon).
