Diego says... Not sure what you mean by types, clumping. I find that the best use for paper in the garden is as an underlay for mulch. It makes a great weed suppressant but still allows water to permeate. After it serves its purpose, It eventually degrades or is eaten by worms. Personally i wouldn't put cat litter in the garden. Toxoplasmosis is spread by ingestion of cat poo.
