I have a fruit tree in my front yard, and it bears a lot of fruits every Christmas, but I do n’t know its name and whether I need another fruit to pollinate. Thanks for the help

It looks like a plum ie Prunus to me, you could eat them when ripe or cook/stew them. Some you can dry.

If it fruits every xmas and gives good crops, you shouldnt need a pollinator as it is doing the job.

This looks like a plum tree to me, and since it's giving you fruit as in the photo, then it seems to be self-fertile (no need for a pollinator).
