Is cross pollination necessary for your dwarf mulberry tree and your blue berry and are they suitable for the NSW Newcastle area?

I found this site containing some good info when i was looking into growing blue berries.

My conclusion is that it was beneficial to have more than 1 plant for polination purposes but not absolutely necessary if you have the 'right' variety.
