Jantina says... You can certainly divide your dianella up. I'm assuming that the spikes are this seasons and therefore the plant is in a growth cycle. Theoretically you could divide it into 15 plants but in practice you will get plants that have a better chance of recovering quickly if you have bigger divisions, say 8-10 plants or less. | About the Author Jantina Mt. culebra says... That's how i propagated mine. i now have quite a few of them in my garden. the biggest clump would be about 1m across. don't think i've ever watered them! The berries i don't really like. they have a very strange taste IMO. don't know how to describe it to those who have not tasted it.
